Job summary

ESCO Construction Company in Evergreen, CO is seeking a recent graduate for an entry-level role in heavy civil construction. The position focuses on learning construction means and methods, budgeting exposure, and takeoff work with guidance from more experienced team members.

You will use Microsoft Office, HCSS HeavyJob, Agtek earthwork takeoff, and Microsoft Project to support project schedules, prepare quantities, and coordinate subcontractor costs.

Qualifications

  • Recent graduate or ≤2 years in heavy civil construction.
  • Organized, motivated, detail-oriented and driven.
  • Willing to learn construction means, budgets, and takeoffs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, HCSS HeavyJob, Agtek earthwork takeoff, and MS Project.

Responsibilities

  • Understand construction means and methods.
  • Exposure to budgets including costs for labor, equipment, subcontractors, and materials.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs using available software.
  • Support project schedule preparation, quantities, and production rates.
  • Manage subcontractor quantities for weekly cost and monthly progress billings.

The candidate can be a recent graduate with no experience or less than 2 years of previous experience in heavy civil construction.   • Salary Wage: $65,000-$85,000. Paid weekly.
