Power Design is a nationwide electrical contractor actively growing our field teams on job sites. Under supervision and mentorship, you will learn the business aspects of running large-scale construction projects and gain hands-on experience with electrical installation scopes.

Qualifications

  • College graduate with a construction-related degree or 4+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Detail-oriented professional who can quickly solve problems and enjoys new challenges.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Demonstrate and uphold Power Design’s core values: integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation and growth.
  • Non-smoker.

Responsibilities

  • Gaining firsthand experience of electrical installation scopes of work including decks, rough, trim and distribution.
  • Assist project team with deliverables throughout all phases of construction, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Promote safety on site by recognizing hazards and ensuring corrections.
  • Coordinate schedules, manage labor forecasts, inventory, material and project correspondence (orders, timesheets).
  • Interact with customers and other trades while representing the organization in the field.
  • After training, utilize cutting-edge technology to assist on assigned projects.

Power Design is a Nationwide Electrical contractor and our Field Engineers are working locally on our jobsites, cultivating their career by experiencing our projects firsthand. Under the supervision and mentorship of a Superintendent and project team, you will learn all of the business aspects of running large-scale construction projects. It is a perfect fit for motivated, driven individuals to quickly grow in the organization.

position details/responsibilities…
  • Gaining firsthand experience of the electrical installation scopes of work including decks, rough, trim and distribution.
  • Play a key role in helping the project team succeed by providing support with project deliverables throughout all phases of construction, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Help to continue and build our culture of Safety onsite by recognizing safety hazards and ensuring corrections
  • Collaborate with senior team members, suppliers and contractors to coordinate schedules, mange the labor forecast, inventory, material and project correspondence (orders, timesheets, etc.).
  • Interacting with customers and other trades while representing the organization in the field.
  • After receiving training in our state-of-the-art facility, utilize cutting-edge technology to assist on assigned projects.
