Job summary

Power Design is a nationwide electrical contractor. Field Engineers gain hands-on experience on local jobsites under supervision, learning the business aspects of running large-scale construction projects and growing quickly within the organization.

After training in a state-of-the-art facility, you will use cutting-edge technology to support project delivery while collaborating with the project team, suppliers, and customers in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

  • Detail-oriented professional with the ability to quickly solve problems and adapt to challenges.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Gain firsthand experience of electrical installation scopes (decks, rough, trim, distribution).
  • Support project deliverables across all construction phases, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Promote site safety by recognizing hazards and enforcing corrections.
  • Coordinate schedules, labor forecast, inventory, and project correspondence with senior team, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Interface with customers and other trades representing the organization on site.
  • Utilize training and cutting-edge tech to assist on assigned projects.

about the position…

Power Design is a Nationwide Electrical contractor and our Field Engineers are working locally on our jobsites, cultivating their career by experiencing our projects firsthand. Under the supervision and mentorship of a Superintendent and project team, you will learn all of the business aspects of running large-scale construction projects. It is a perfect fit for motivated, driven individuals to quickly grow in the organization.

position details/responsibilities…
  • Gaining firsthand experience of the electrical installation scopes of work including decks, rough, trim and distribution.
  • Play a key role in helping the project team succeed by providing support with project deliverables throughout all phases of construction, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Help to continue and build our culture of Safety onsite by recognizing safety hazards and ensuring corrections
  • Collaborate with senior team members, suppliers and contractors to coordinate schedules, mange the labor forecast, inventory, material and project correspondence (orders, timesheets, etc.).
  • Interacting with customers and other trades while representing the organization in the field.
  • After receiving training in our state-of-the-art facility, utilize cutting-edge technology to assist on assigned projects.

  • College graduate with a construction-related degree, or individual with 4+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Detail-oriented professional with the ability to quickly solve problems, who loves new challenges and is seeking a defined career path.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Demonstrate and uphold all of Power Design’s core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation and growth.
