Job summary

Willmeng Construction in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Field Engineer to support field operations on our commercial construction projects. You will assist the Superintendent, helping keep work on schedule and within budget while upholding our quality standards.

The role emphasizes safety and collaboration; you’ll coordinate with subcontractors, plan sequencing, and help manage procurement and day-to-day field operations on assigned projects.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Construction Engineering preferred or a BS in Engineering with relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work in a collaborative environment.
• Proficient in construction software (Procore preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

The Role

The Field Engineer is responsible for assisting the Superintendent in a hands-on, team-focused environment in all aspects of projects from startup through closeout. The Field Engineer ensures the work is completed on time, within budget, while adhering to Willmeng’s quality standards.
