Job summary

Willmeng Construction, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to support the Superintendent on commercial projects from startup through closeout. You will help ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding Willmeng’s quality standards and safety culture.

The role requires collaboration across teams, strong communication, and proficiency with Procore and MS Office. A construction engineering background is preferred, with opportunity to contribute to a values-driven, employee-owned organization.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Construction Engineering preferred or a BS in Engineering with relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work in a collaborative environment.
• Proficient in construction software (Procore preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in a hands-on, team-focused environment through project startup to closeout.
• Ensure work is completed on time and within budget while meeting Willmeng's quality standards.
• Promote site safety and coordinate activities with subcontractors and vendors.

The Role

The Field Engineer is responsible for assisting the Superintendent in a hands‑on, team‑focused environment in all aspects of projects from startup through closeout. The Field Engineer ensures the work is completed on time, within budget, while adhering to Willmeng’s quality standards.

What you will accomplish

• Promoting and ensuring site safety.
• Maintaining knowledge of the day to day field operations for assigned project(s).
• Planning, coordinating, sequencing work, procurement of materials, and supervising subcontractors and vendors.
