Resource Innovations in the San Diego area is seeking a Residential Outreach Specialist to promote enrollment in the Energy Savings Assistance Program. This field-based role engages directly with customers, determines eligibility, explains benefits, collects enrollment documents, and installs basic energy-saving measures.

• Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills.
• Ability to explain program requirements clearly to diverse customers.
• Excellent communication and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, manage appointments, and meet outreach goals.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and travel for field visits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field outreach and door-to-door canvassing to promote enrollment.
• Meet with utility customers to explain the Energy Savings Assistance Program and benefits.
• Explain income requirements and eligibility criteria.
• Describe energy-conservation measures and their benefits.
• Provide energy education and cost-saving recommendations to customers.
• Complete enrollment paperwork and collect required documents.
• Install basic energy- and water-saving measures in homes.
• Maintain accurate customer records and comply with safety policies.
