Job summary

CMC Energy Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician to perform energy audits, installations, service and inspections for our customers. You will advise clients on energy-saving practices and recommend appropriate solutions.

This role requires hands-on field work, attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Travel to client sites and adherence to OSHA safety guidelines are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree a plus.
• 1–3 years construction or related industry experience.
• Clear verbal and written communication; strong customer relations.
• Detail-oriented with accurate documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license; travel to client locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct or support energy audits, installations, service, and inspections.
• Educate customers on energy-saving practices and recommend solutions.
• Perform diagnostic testing and install program measures; support minor repairs.
• Maintain inventory and ensure safe, clean job sites.
• Communicate issues to supervisor for resolution.
• Adhere to OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Travel to client sites as needed.
