Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Watertown, MA, seeks an EMT to transport Spaulding Rehabilitation patients and support transitions across the care environment, delivering care with heart and purpose.

You'll spend time with patients whether they're unwell or being discharged, build genuine connections, and work with a team of 70+ EMTs across 15+ vehicles.

The schedule is four 13.5-hour shifts Tue/Thu/Fri 7:00 AM–8:30 PM, with weekend pick-ups and a strong emphasis on safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma required
• Emergency Medical Technician required

Licenses and Credentials

• Basic Life Support - required
• Emergency Medical Technician [EMT License] required
• Emergency Medical Technician [NREMT-Basic] - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) preferred
• Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License preferred

Experience

EMT Experience 0-1 year preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Demonstrated ability to implement clinical care in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in the state of practice.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment while working in a stressful environment.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to bend, pull, push, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful and crisis situations.
