Air is seeking a Forward Deployed UX Researcher/Designer to embed with customers in the field, understand end-user jobs, and translate insights into actionable product directions for AI-native solutions. This fast-paced, highly collaborative role owns discovery end-to-end—from framing questions to delivering insights that shape what we build.

You will work with engineers, data scientists, designers, and product managers to distill customer needs and create a 10x better user experience, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience conducting applied UX or product research in a professional setting, including planning studies and synthesizing findings independently.
• Strong command of qualitative methods (interviews, contextual inquiry, usability testing) and comfort with mixed-methods work.

Responsabilités

• Embed with customers in the field to understand mission and evaluation of continuous readiness.
• Frame questions, run research, synthesize insights, and translate findings into product direction.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, designers, and product managers to distill customer needs into core offerings.
• Balance priorities and communicate a clear research narrative to cross-functional partners.
• Travel up to 75% as required by assignments.
