Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Electronics Technician III to support FAA TSSC-5 contract work nationwide. You will perform installation, testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on electronic systems including NAVAIDS, communications, and surveillance equipment across multiple sites.

Work under supervision, follow FAA directives, and collaborate with senior technicians and engineers on complex systems. Must be able to travel extensively within the USA; security requirements apply; salary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Five+ years of working knowledge in basic analog and digital electronics.
• Fundamentals of RF and communications equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Must be able to travel up to 100% within the USA.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, and remove electronic systems and equipment (NAVAIDS, communications, surveillance).
• Troubleshoot and repair systems to component or module level.
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and FAA orders and installation plans.
• Assist pre-installation checks and site work per drawings and standards.
• Document maintenance logs, parts used, and test results.
