Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. You will install, configure, and test electronic security solutions including access control, CCTV, and IT systems for federal, local, and commercial clients.

The role requires travel up to 25%, active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility, and a background in electronics installation. You will work with a collaborative team and have opportunities for training and professional growth.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with electronics training (720 hours)
• 4+ years of electronics installation/maintenance on multiple systems
• Requires valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain polygraph

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Conducts site surveys, configures hardware and software, tests systems for proper operation.
• Provides technical support to customers and communicates effectively with clients and team members.
• Enforces project safety plans (JHA, AHA, PFW) and adheres to MC Dean policies.
• Keeps project teams updated through regular communication and documentation.
• Documents field conditions and provides feedback to the project team.
