Job summary

Nesco Resource, LLC is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Automation Technician to lead the build, integration, and field deployment of complex automated machinery. This role combines precise mechanical assembly from engineering drawings with high-density electrical routing, sensor integration, and field terminations, in both shop and customer sites.

Travel up to 50% (3–7 days) is required for installation, commissioning, and service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical certification or trade schooling in electrical, automation, or mechatronics is a plus.
• Experience reading mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and pneumatic/hydraulic diagrams.
• Must be able to travel up to 50% for short-term trips (3–7 days) and pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-density field terminations and precise electrical routing on automated machinery.
• Manage wire routing, labeling, and harness assembly; ensure clean wire management.
• Integrate, wire, and position control devices including proximity switches and sensors.
• Interpret and work from complex electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Build, align, and assemble mechanical components from blueprints; basic fabrication and light welding as needed.
