Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a field electrician to provide general electrical support for projects, with focus on reserve power applications including telecom, IT, UPS, utilities, and switchgear. You will perform installations, modifications, testing, and troubleshooting on live systems.

Candidates should have 2–4 years of hands-on experience, journeyman or apprentice electrician status, and strong communication skills to coordinate with field teams and customers.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a similar position.
• Journeyman or apprentice electrician required.
• Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Replaces, or repairs equipment, and brings installation projects into quality and/or safety compliance.
• Performs additions, removals, and modifications on working equipment and circuits including circuit modifications, software additions or upgrades, power transition work, and addition or removal of batteries.
• Performs addition or removal of circuits on working power distribution sources, performs equipment testing and turn-up.
• Maintains inventories of material and equipment for regional use and transports needed equipment to the job site.
• Escalates issues to the field manager and coordinates with customer stakeholders regarding schedules, quality, and standards.
• Adheres to customer safety, installation quality, processes, and communication methods.
• Accurately track all time and expenses and report to project management.
