Job summary

Southern Housing is seeking a qualified Electrician to perform a wide range of electrical repairs, maintenance and testing across our properties. This field-based role supports the Reactive Repairs team and requires a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends with a 24-hour on-call rota.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds equivalent.
• Experience carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance and testing.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety and electrical compliance requirements.
• Willingness to work towards the 2391 inspection & testing qualification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance and testing across our properties.
• Work within Reactive Repairs team to deliver a responsive and reliable service.
• Be part of a 24-hour emergency call out rota and communicate with residents throughout the process.
