Job summary

Frontier-Kemper Constructors, Inc. is seeking an experienced electrician to support mining and civil construction projects from the Evansville, IN office.

You will install and start up electrical equipment, wire control panels, and troubleshoot systems across job sites with travel as needed. The role requires an apprenticeship or PLC training, a high school diploma, and at least four years in industrial electrical work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Apprenticeship, Technical electrical degree or advanced manufacturers training in PLCs plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and start-up electrical equipment and controls.
• Assemble and wire control panels.
• Rebuild and recondition electrical equipment and controls (switchgear, power centers, etc.).
• Troubleshoot electrical systems on mining and construction equipment.
• Work with project management and clients to improve safety and efficiency.
