Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required, with options for further trade credentials.
• Two–four years of relevant experience for the associate path or trade certificates.
• Eight years of relevant experience or Department of Labor certification accepted.
• Must pass all related testing.
• Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe work habits and plan projects prioritizing safety.
• Diagnose malfunctions with test equipment and hand tools to locate and fix issues.
• Adhere to NEC, NFPA 70E, Cummins specs, and applicable standards for 600V and below systems.
• Plan, install, assemble, and troubleshoot wiring, breakers, equipment, fixtures, and conduit.
• Support customer needs and coordinate maintenance, preventative, and predictive tasks.
• Create sketches and follow blueprints to locate wiring and equipment per codes.
• Communicate technical information to customers and train staff and apprentices.
• Participate in improvement projects and maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
