Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent AND
• Associate’s degree with two‑four years of relevant experience OR
• Trade certificate with six years of relevant experience OR
• Eight years of relevant experience OR
• Must pass all related testing.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and machine support tasks to keep assigned production line operational.
• Selects and uses appropriate tools, machinery, specialty equipment, and guidance to complete assigned job.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatuses, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of breakdown, correct the problem, and document machine downtime.
• Reads, interprets, and follows blue prints, work instructions, and manuals; prepares or follows blueprints; notes modifications to blueprints to document equipment modifications; documents work performed by paper and electronically.
• Improves preventative maintenance and work order completion; assists maintenance manager with tracking and scheduling preventative maintenance and work orders; assists operations in promoting its preventative maintenance completion and removing roadblocks.
