Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking an experienced electrical maintenance professional to service equipment within the Seymour, Indiana area. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and compliant installation of electrical systems, including 600-volt equipment.

You will diagnose malfunctions, plan corrective actions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety and reliability of production systems while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting machinery including CNC and assembly equipment.
• Ability to diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools.
• Knowledge of NEC NFPA 70E and applicable safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and support electrical systems 600 volts and below.
• Diagnose issues, locate root causes, and repair efficiently using test equipment and hand tools.
• Plan, install, and troubleshoot wiring, breakers, conduits, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and build a safe working environment.
• Communicate technical information to customers and train personnel as needed.
• Support improvement projects and participate in cross-functional teamwork.
