Job summary

Donovan Marine in Harahan, LA is seeking a skilled technician to join our service team. You will troubleshoot electrical circuits, handle motor starters, use meters, and perform routine maintenance on hydraulic systems. Occasional travel to other locations is required and overtime may be expected.

Experience is preferred but general electrical and mechanical skills are required. You will read one-line drawings and ensure safety and policy compliance in a 24-hour operation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting basic electrical circuits.
• Motor starters and start/stop operations.
• Must know how to use multimeter, amp meter and megger.
• Terminate most common types of electrical equipment.
• Read one-line drawings.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to hydraulic steering pumps.
• Travel occasionally to work at other locations for the company.
• Follow Donovan Service & Repair operational policies.
• Any other duties as needed by management.
