Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Field Electrical Lead to oversee installation crews and coordinate electrical cut-ins and retrofits in industrial facilities in the Rochester area.

You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time commissioning while collaborating with project managers, controls engineers, and mechanical teams. Strong knowledge of electrical diagrams and motor control technologies is required, with up to 100% travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical/controls issues.
• Knowledge of safety standards OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70/70E.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical installation crews and coordinate with Project Managers, Controls Engineers, Mechanical Teams, customers, and other trades.
• Plan and coordinate electrical cut-ins, equipment replacements, system upgrades, and retrofit installations.
• Evaluate existing electrical infrastructure and develop safe installation sequences to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate outage windows, startup activities, and commissioning efforts with stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, quality, and schedule; provide regular site updates.
