Job summary

Dematic is seeking a talented Electrical Supervisor. This role supports multiple customer projects nationwide and requires up to 100% travel to sites across the continental US.

Based in the United States, you will ensure installation quality, safety, and on-site coordination. You will lead electrical installation quality checks, run trials, train contract labor, document reports, and collaborate with project managers.

Qualifications

• Ten years minimum in troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• Experience with AGVS, AS/RS or conveyors preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• Experience with quality assurance.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays and OT.
• Knowledge of PC use, databases and communications.
• Understanding PC hardware and software configuration.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for installation quality on the project site, including manufacturing and subcontractor quality.
• Quality checklists and submittal of Corrective Actions when discrepancies are identified.
• On-site safety oversight including safety audits.
• Assist with routine equipment trial runs to meet specifications and ensure Dematic standards.
• Provide on-site reporting on schedule and resources to project manager and/or customer.
• Assist training of contract labor and subcontractors in installation of Dematic equipment.
• Write concise trip reports per Dematic procedures.
• Identify problems and suggest solutions when issues are not complex.
• Travel on short notice up to 100% of the time; on-call travel as needed.
• Push, pull, crawl, squat and walk on large construction sites; lift at least 50 lbs.
