Job summary

Highland Electric Fleets seeks an Electrical Reliability Engineer to own field-side integrity of the electrical infrastructure powering our depots, from utility service to chargers. You will spend time on site inspecting depots, supporting commissioning, and troubleshooting upstream infrastructure.

You will work with Construction Electrical Engineering, Energy, and Procurement to embed reliability into future sites, train field technicians, and provide remote as well as on-site support across

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electrical, power, or infrastructure engineering with field time.
• Experience training or supporting field technicians remotely and in person.
• Knowledge of OSHA electrical safety requirements and arc flash principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and commissioning support at depots, ensuring safety and design compliance.
• Validate energy quality, voltage stability, and power quality at depots for reliable operation.
• Assess as-built construction quality and ensure maintainability of live sites.
• Identify single points of failure and prioritize remediation across the portfolio.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support to field technicians and reliability managers.
