Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Electrical Quality Inspector to support the Project Quality Team on multiple US projects. The role focuses on QA/QC inspections in the field to ensure electrical work meets contract and specification requirements.

You will develop understanding of project scope, schedule, and quality documents; coordinate inspections with operations; document results and maintain quality files; and travel to various project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in engineering technology or science with 2 years QA/QC exp., or high school/GED with 4 years QA/QC exp.
• Working knowledge of construction codes and inspection techniques.
• Must be self-starter, organized, and have strong work ethic and demeanor.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Listen to client concerns and take appropriate action.
• Provide open communications to client representatives about quality of work.
• Develop understanding of project scope and quality requirements for electrical work.
• Study Project Quality Plan and related quality documents.
• Identify detailed quality requirements per contract specs and codes.
• Coordinate with operations to schedule inspections and tests.
