Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking an Electrical Inspector to support the Project Quality Team with field electrical inspections across the United States. The role focuses on QA/QC inspections to ensure end products meet contract and specification requirements.

The Electrical Inspector will perform inspections and tests for the electrical discipline and may take on additional duties as directed by supervision to align with project quality goals. Travel to various sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in engineering technology or science plus two years of related QA/QC field experience; or a high school diploma and four years in related construction QA/QC.
• Working knowledge of construction codes (e.g., NEC, AWS, ASME) and QA/QC inspection techniques.
• Must be self-starter, organized with good interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Listen to client concerns and take appropriate action.
• Provide open communications to client representatives on quality of work.
• Develop understanding of project scope and quality requirements for electrical work.
• Study the Project Quality Plan and related quality documents.
• Identify quality requirements per contract and codes.
• Coordinate inspections and tests with operations to meet production goals.
• Perform electrical inspections and tests as required in the assigned area.
• Prepare inspection/test reports and maintain quality files.
