Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Field Acceptance Testing Technician to verify electrical product quality and compliance. You will inspect and test control cabinets, wiring, and finished goods, ensuring safe, reliable outputs.

Responsibilities include audits, reporting, and collaboration with safety, engineering, and manufacturing teams. This is a full-time role requiring travel and a strong electrical background.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician with 5+ years of industry experience or 7+ years in electrical assembly/inspection.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
• High-level analytical ability and sound decision-making skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
• Electrical experience across low/medium voltage installations.
• Working knowledge of IEC, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and NETA testing specs.
• Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, HMI, MCC, and UPS.
• Ability to read and trace electrical schematics.
• Basic Word/Excel; scheduling software a plus.
• Must pass background check and drug/alcohol testing.
• Travel up to 100% to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Electrical inspections of installations, subassemblies, and finished goods for compliance.
• Audit electrical assembly, control wiring, power distribution, and commercial wiring processes.
• Assist in or prepare testing and commissioning reports.
• Document quality standards and specifications; contribute to training.
• Verify conformity to approved drawings and standards; address deviations.
• Document material non-conformances during inspections.
• Collaborate with safety, engineering, and manufacturing to improve design for manufacturing.
• Ensure designs comply with regulatory, customer specs, and standards.
• Support tool calibration program focusing on electrical test equipment.
• Perform other duties to support QA processes.
• Travel 80% to job sites; when not traveling, support Brighton, CO production site.
