Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Quality Tester focused on switchboard testing to ensure the electrical distribution systems powering our AI infrastructure meet quality and safety standards. You will execute comprehensive switchboard tests across production stages and collaborate with engineering and production teams.

You will document results, identify failures, support root-cause analysis, and help implement corrective actions, with strict adherence to NEC, NFPA 70E, UL 891, IEEE, and internal quality

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED minimum; degrees preferred.
• Five years in electrical testing and quality control.
• Thorough knowledge of testing principles and safety practices.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, UL 891, IEEE, ANSI standards.
• Able to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience operating test equipment and documenting results.
• Proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Physically able to perform testing tasks and inspections.
• Willingness to follow safety training and company policies.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive switchboard testing procedures and inspections.
• Follow test procedures and checklists to ensure compliance with specs.
• Perform electrical testing including continuity and insulation resistance.
• Calibrate, maintain, and operate testing equipment safely.
• Record data accurately and generate test reports.
• Document non-conformances and assist root-cause analysis.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and internal QA requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and QA teams.
• Provide training on basic quality checks for switchgear assemblies.
• Maintain documentation and calibration records.
