Job summary

Kintec Search is seeking an experienced Electrical Owner's Representative to provide on-site oversight of electrical construction for a utility-scale solar project in Arkansas. The site-based contract role requires representing the owner, monitoring the EPC contractor, and ensuring safe, quality work aligned with drawings and schedule.

You will work with the Construction Manager and other Owner's Representatives through construction, testing, commissioning, and turnover, maintain daily reports

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience, preferably on utility-scale solar or similar large-scale power projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, specifications and construction docs.
• Familiarity with NEC requirements and electrical safety practices; capable of QA/QC processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a regular on-site presence and represent the owner's interests during electrical construction activities.
• Monitor EPC contractor and subcontractor electrical work, including DC collection systems and medium-voltage wiring.
• Review drawings, one-lines, cable schedules, and installation details to identify field issues.
• Identify and document deficiencies, non-conforming work, and safety concerns.
• Coordinate RFIs, design clarifications, field changes, and corrective actions with the Construction Manager.
• Participate in electrical inspections, meetings, and contractor coordination activities.
• Monitor progress against the project schedule and communicate potential delays or sequencing issues.
• Observe testing activities and support documentation of test results; assist with turnover documentation.
• Maintain daily reports and photographic progress documentation; ensure interface with Civil, Mechanical, and HV/Substation scopes.
