Job summary

Tallgrass Energy is seeking an Electrical/Control Systems Technician in Missouri to implement, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical power circuits, control systems, and pneumatic/electronic equipment at pipeline and facility sites. You will perform I&M checks, calibrations, and upgrades while ensuring regulatory compliance and safe operations.

The role requires an Associate degree in a technical field, experience with electrical instruments and blueprints, and knowledge of NEC standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical field or related discipline.
• Experience operating electronic test instruments and reading electrical/mechanical blueprints.
• Familiarity with National Electric Codes and safe work practices.
• Ability to estimate installation/maintenance costs and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Intermediate MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical switch gear and power distribution.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC and control systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on pumps, compressors, and drivers.
• Inspect and maintain control systems and instrumentation.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance and document activities.
