Job summary

Top Tempo Technical is seeking a Field Service Technician for Electric Bus / High Voltage Electrical systems. The role involves servicing high-voltage electrical systems on transit buses, troubleshooting advanced electrical issues, and installing components in the field.

The ideal candidate has E-bus experience and 2+ years in electrical, HVAC, or related technical fields, with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work from blueprints and schematics. Extensive travel is required.

Qualifications

E-bus experience is required.
2+ years in electrical, HVAC, or related technical field.
Strong electrical troubleshooting including wiring, circuit testing, diagnostics.
Intermediate computer skills and multiplex systems knowledge.
Ability to read blueprints, process sheets, schematics, and technical instructions.
Solid customer service skills.
Valid driver's license.
PLC and ladder logic experience preferred.
High-voltage experience and hydrogen training or certification preferred.
General knowledge of transit buses, hybrid, and/or electric drive systems is a plus.
Extensive travel is required.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot high-voltage electronic and electrical systems on electric buses.
Install electrical systems and components on transit vehicles.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and electrical equipment.
Repair or replace wiring, relays, motors, lighting, and other electrical components.
Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems using testing equipment including ammeters, voltmeters, multimeters, and cable testers.
Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers.
