Job summary

Astro Pak is seeking an Environmental, Health, Safety and Regulatory Field Specialist to support our Field Operations team in Indianapolis and surrounding sites. You will visit active work sites, identify hazards, assess safety practices, support incident investigations, and help teams strengthen day-to-day safety.

With 1–3 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in safety or a related field, you will travel regionally up to 80% and collaborate with technicians and operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Health Physics, Fire Prevention, or related field.
• 1–3 years of field safety experience across sites or locations.
• Experience implementing safety programs at multiple sites.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid Class C driver’s license.
• Ability to meet export control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field QEHS assessments at customer sites and company facilities.
• Support site safety plans, identify program gaps, and implement improvements.
• Assist incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Communicate findings to operations leaders and advise on safety measures.
• Deliver safety trainings and awareness initiatives for field teams.
• Coordinate with customer representatives, company personnel, and regulators.
• Maintain records and reports of assessments and actions.
• Help implement applicable EHS standards across locations.
