Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Site EHS Specialist I to support creation and execution of comprehensive EHS plans on operational sites, driving best-in-class EHS and sustainability standards. You will observe, advise, coach and assist those with operational responsibilities during planning and on-site execution to prevent injuries and ensure compliance.

The role focuses on NO HARM culture, incident prevention, and adherence to country laws and OFS EHS programs, while coordinating with Service Managers

Qualifications

• Technical/University degree in EHS or engineering.
• Working knowledge of EHS regulatory requirements across the work region.
• Proficient in English language both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Promote and execute EHS planning, on-site execution and outage close out for lower complexity scopes or support to a senior EHS Specialist.
• Provide site induction/orientation training and ensure records of attendance are maintained.
• Support incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis with proper documentation.
• Attend customer meetings and contribute to lessons learned to improve EHS culture.
• Stop Work when conditions of work practices are unsafe and coach team members to resume safely.
• Travel may be required and willingness to travel with minimal notice.
