Job summary

Gallagher Bassett Company is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Consultant to provide on-site safety leadership across construction, industrial, energy, and technology projects within the United States.

You will identify hazards, conduct audits, lead investigations, deliver safety training, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations while supporting continuous improvement for clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years EHS experience in construction/industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety programs.
• Excellent communication with project teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field safety observations, inspections, and audits.
• Identify hazards and drive corrective actions with project teams.
• Monitor contractor OSHA compliance and site requirements.
• Lead or participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Prepare safety reports for clients and stakeholders.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety training sessions.
• Review JHAs, AHAs, permits, and Safe Work Plans.
• Support high-risk activities including fall protection, LOTO, confined space, crane operations, excavation and hot work.
