Job summary

Climate Systems, LLC is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee the EHS program across five branches in Charlotte, Hickory, and Asheville, NC. You will conduct site visits, train field staff, and drive safe work practices while reporting to the Safety Director.

Required are a safety degree or seven years in safety, OSHA 30-Hour, CHST/strong experience, and CPR/First Aid. The role demands 60-70% travel and a proactive, team-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety or seven years of relevant experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification is required.
• Construction industry experience is required.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certified.
• CHST certification or equivalent experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and safety audits.
• Ensure project safety adherence, performance, and compliance.
• Review project site forms and data.
• Assist personnel in performing JHAs and Safety Observations.
• Ensure subcontractors are following OSHA requirements and PSG policies.
• Monitor the performance of safety-critical tasks.
• Provide training in areas such as forklifts, scissor lifts, fall protection, and CPR.
• Lead investigations of safety incidents and near misses.
• Travel between Charlotte, Hickory, and Asheville sites as required.
