Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing seeks an experienced EHS Manager for a Johnstown, OH metal manufacturing site. The role focuses on field leadership, safety culture, and hands-on risk reduction, not desk compliance.

The position requires a Bachelor's in safety or related field and 3+ years of safety leadership, with CSP/ASP or equivalent certification preferred. 95% of time will be spent on the shop floor driving improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental health and safety, or a closely related field.
• At least three years of safety management experience.

Responsibilities

• Field safety leadership with a visible presence on the floor.
• Identify unsafe conditions, behaviors, and risks before injuries occur.
• Partner with employees and leadership to implement corrective actions.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and close follow-up of actions.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Drive environmental, health, and safety program management and compliance.
