Job summary

MissionHires is seeking a proactive EHS Manager in Bryan, Ohio to lead safety and environmental programs in metal fabrication. This role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering a high-performance safety culture.

Key responsibilities include managing OSHA and EPA compliance, conducting audits, handling hazardous materials, and training employees. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of relevant experience and certifications in safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing, preferably metal fabrication.
• 1–3 years in a supervisory role.
• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification required.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification required or to be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee OSHA, EPA, and local regulatory compliance.
• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Manage hazardous materials and air emissions.
• Lead safety committees and training programs.
• Supervise and develop a safety team.
• Partner with engineering for safety in new equipment.
