Job summary

AWP Safety is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Coordinator to support field and office locations within the designated region, primarily Indiana with occasional travel to Southern Michigan and Chicagoland. You will implement safety programs, coach field personnel, and conduct site visits to ensure compliance with OSHA and company SOPs.

The role requires 3–5 years in EHS, an Associate's degree in EHS (Bachelor's preferred), and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of work experience in the EHS field.
• Associate's Degree in EHS or related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Safety Engineering/Management.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily safety support to designated region.
• Plan, supervise, and coach team members.
• Conduct on-site facility/work site visits (8/week).
• Perform compliance reviews and risk assessments.
• Maintain SOPs for safe work practices and equipment.
• Coach and mentor regional employees in the Safety Management System.
• Review incidents and drive corrective actions.
