Job summary

Helix Traffic Solutions, LLC is seeking an organized Project Manager for Highway Intelligent Traffic Solutions (HITS) in Cedar Hill, TX. The role blends field presence with office responsibilities, focusing on planning, execution, and safe delivery of transportation infrastructure projects.

You will work with owners, engineers, and subcontractors, managing budgets, schedules, and project documentation while using HCSS HeavyJob to monitor performance and forecast outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience within heavy civil, transportation, electrical, utility, ITS, roadway lighting, or related construction.
• Experience working with public agencies, municipalities, DOT projects, or similar construction environments.
• Working knowledge of contract administration, project controls, scheduling, and construction finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from contract award through final completion and closeout.
• Maintain a strong presence in the field and develop productive relationships with superintendents, foremen, customers, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, subcontractors, and internal resources to support project execution.
• Review project performance, budgets, forecasts, and change orders; manage project documentation and reporting.
• Utilize HCSS HeavyJob as a primary tool for project management and cost visibility.
• Support monthly forecasting, revenue projections, and work-in-progress reporting.
