Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Operations Training to lead how we teach, equip, and support frontline teams across retail, donation, and warehouse operations.

You will translate SOPs and safety standards into practical training, partnering with operations leaders to identify whether gaps are due to skills, processes, or other factors, and drive measurable performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Learning and Development, HR, Education, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field (master's a plus).
• Five+ years in learning and development, instructional design, training facilitation, or operations training.
• Supervisory experience or demonstrated ability to direct instructional design, training, or project resources preferred.
• Track record of running projects end to end, from needs analysis through measurement and improvement.
• Comfort designing for multi-site operations (retail, warehouse, etc.).
• Knowledge of adult learning principles (ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy).
• Proficiency in e-learning tools like Articulate Rise or Storyline.

Responsibilities

• Set operations learning priorities in partnership with the Senior Director, Learning and Engagement, tying them to KPIs, safety, and business goals.
• Diagnose performance gaps through field observation, data, and leader input, and recommend fixes beyond training.
• Design and maintain curricula, job aids, e-learning, and assessments for hourly, supervisory, and multi-site audiences.
• Keep SOPs and training aligned as processes evolve, in collaboration with owning teams.
• Facilitate training, coach in the field, and lead rollouts from communications to post-launch feedback.
• Measure impact using LMS data, KPIs, and a Kirkpatrick-style framework.
• Lead an instructional design team and partner with HR, Safety, Loss Prevention, IT, and Operations on change initiatives.
