Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) seeks an Entry-Level Land Surveyor to support field surveys, boundary research, and construction stakeout for transportation and infrastructure projects.

You'll gain hands-on experience with total stations, GPS/GNSS, CAD tools, and data collection while collaborating with engineers and surveyors. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in surveying/geomatics preferred.
• Internship or co-op in surveying is plus.
• Basic understanding of surveying principles and field procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field surveys for boundary, topographic, and construction projects.
• Operate total stations, GPS/GNSS, data collectors, and levels.
• Collect accurate field measurements and survey data.
• Perform construction stakeout and field layout activities.
• Prepare survey maps, plats, sketches, and legal descriptions.
• Conduct deed/boundary research using public records and databases.
• Process and verify field data with surveying software.
• Support drone, LiDAR, and reality capture efforts when applicable.
• Maintain survey equipment and vehicles.
• Follow safety procedures in field operations.
• Coordinate with crews, engineers, PMs, and clients.
• Assist with quality control of deliverables.
