Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Land Surveyor to support field surveys and data analysis for transportation, land development, municipal, and infrastructure projects.

You will work alongside seasoned surveyors and engineers across field and office environments, gaining hands-on experience with modern surveying technology. Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Internship, co-op, or prior surveying experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson Survey, or similar software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field surveys for boundary, topographic, construction, utility, and ALTA/NSPS projects.
• Operate surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, data collectors, and levels.
• Collect accurate field measurements and survey data.
• Perform construction stakeout and field layout activities.
• Assist in preparing survey maps, plats, sketches, and legal descriptions.
• Conduct deed and boundary research using public records and survey databases.
• Process and verify field data using surveying software.
• Support drone, LiDAR, and reality capture efforts when applicable.
• Maintain survey equipment and vehicles.
• Follow established safety procedures during field operations.
• Coordinate with survey crews, engineers, project managers, and clients.
• Assist with quality control reviews of survey deliverables.
