Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Sr HSSE Operations & Project Execution Associate to ensure HSSE integrity across projects under development, execution sites, and operations. The role supports HSSE management systems and regulatory compliance.

You will lead investigations, report non-conformances, coordinate with operations and engineering on corrective actions, and monitor KPIs while traveling domestically to facilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Health, Construction Safety, or Environmental Science or related field required.
• Professional certifications preferred.
• 6+ years experience in lieu of a degree acceptable; applicable to power/energy sectors.
• 3+ years EHS experience in wind/solar/battery or power generation operations.

Responsibilities

• Promote health and safety for employees, contractors and subcontractors on facilities and projects.
• Drive continuous HSSE improvement across operations and project execution.
• Travel domestically >50% to facilities and projects with company vehicle.
• Conduct investigations and prepare reports; update HSSE systems.
• Develop corrective actions with Operations, Project Execution and Engineering.
• Monitor HSSE metrics, records and OSHA 300 injury reports.
• Lead HSSE programs and deliver training on safety topics.
• Participate actively in Operations meetings.
