STV Construction Incorporated is seeking an enthusiastic Construction Management Intern to join our team in New York. Undergraduate and graduate candidates will work with senior and junior designers to support construction document development for diverse projects.

The role involves on-site oversight, daily reporting, and collaboration with contractors to monitor progress, quality, and safety. Preference for 3+ months and full-time availability.

Qualifications

• This internship is for students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in construction or project management.
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in construction is expected.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, scheduling, budgeting, LEED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily on-site oversight and document project progress.
• Observe contractor work and identify potential quality issues or deviations.
• Monitor contractor QA/QC activities and safety procedures.
• Review plans to anticipate construction issues and changes.
• Coordinate with contractors to track schedules and field activities.
• Maintain daily reports and project documentation; attend weekly meetings.
