Job summary

STV Incorporated is seeking a Construction Management Intern for Summer 2027 in the Los Angeles area. You will work with senior and junior designers to assist in completing project construction documents, observe site activities, and help track schedules and quality on a variety of public and large-scale projects.

The role offers valuable hands-on experience in construction management, with eligibility for students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in construction or project management.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in construction, project management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in construction.
• Ability to work with a team on project documentation and site observations.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily on-site oversight of construction activities and document project progress.
• Conduct on-site observations of contractor work and identify quality issues or deviations from plans.
• Monitor contractor compliance with plans, specifications, and safety procedures.
• Review plans to understand project requirements and identify construction issues.
• Coordinate with contractors to track schedule and upcoming activities.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, inspection records, and project documentation.
• Attend weekly project meetings and support documentation and action items.
