Job summary

Ardurra in Houston, TX is seeking a Construction Management & Inspection Intern to support construction administration and field activities on infrastructure projects.

Under supervision, you will assist Senior Field Representatives with inspections, document control, cost and schedule tracking, and coordination, gaining hands‑on exposure to project delivery and contract compliance while developing technical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work ethic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team‑oriented and self‑motivated, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Responsibilities

• Assists with field inspections, measurements, testing, and data collection, gaining hands‑on experience with construction field activities.
• Supports review and organization of construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Helps prepare meeting notes, technical memoranda, reports, and project status updates.
• Assists with material quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and vendor pricing requests, providing exposure to estimating and procurement processes.
• Supports schedule and budget tracking and contributes to project documentation and recordkeeping.
• Assists with bid‑related documentation, construction administration tasks, and project closeout activities.
• Coordinates with project staff, consultants, and contractors as needed to support project delivery.
