Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP is seeking Construction Engineer Interns to support regional Construction Managers across West Virginia. You will assist in design, procurement, delivery and close-out of government projects, applying engineering principles to solve on-site construction challenges.

The role involves site work, documentation, and collaboration with licensed engineers, with opportunities to gain CPM scheduling and cost estimation experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Civil/Construction Eng or related field.
• Experience in construction engineering, inspection and testing preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist construction managers in construction management and inspection.
• Support contract management, change management and documentation.
• Handle project records, materials certification and close-out tasks.
• Coordinate field testing and QA/QC activities under supervision.
