Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP is seeking a civil engineering student for an Internship in Charleston, WV. You will gain exposure to transportation engineering disciplines and work within a collaborative Transportation Group that emphasizes mentorship, innovation, and accelerated career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Experience working with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist transportation engineering team on projects from local intersection improvements to major interchange programs.
• Collaborate with engineers and support staff to gain hands-on experience.
• Learn and apply MicroStation/AutoCAD in project deliverables.
