Job summary

gpac is partnering with a well-established commercial general contractor to hire an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent. You will lead day-to-day field operations on diverse commercial projects across hospitality, education, healthcare, retail, and more.

You will coordinate subcontractors, manage the project schedule, review drawings and specs, lead meetings, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while maintaining accurate field reports and closeout readiness.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive leadership experience managing field teams on commercial construction projects.
• Strong scheduling, coordination, and communication skills are required.
• Proven ability to read drawings and specifications and coordinate with subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day construction activities on the jobsite.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, vendors, deliveries, equipment and materials.
• Maintain the project schedule and address potential delays.
• Partner with Project Managers to ensure project execution.
• Review drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Conduct and participate in project and coordination meetings.
• Monitor workmanship and enforce safety standards.
• Maintain site documentation and progress photography.
