Job summary

gpac seeks an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations across Hospitality, Healthcare, Multi-family and more. You will plan, schedule, supervise, and coordinate all construction activities with owners, architects, and subs, ensuring safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of GC superintendent experience and a strong leadership, communication, and team-working mindset to drive project success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent for a General Contractor.
• BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to be assigned to remote projects as needed.
• Strong leadership and communication qualities.
• Strong integrity and teamwork.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction processes.
• Experience with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all construction operations.
• Direct field staff and subcontractors.
• Maintain and manage project schedules, addressing issues promptly.
• Work closely with the Project Manager on budgeting and cost control.
• Schedule and oversee necessary inspections.
• Ensure compliance with project contracts, plans, and specifications.
• Maintain an organized and safe job site.
• Enforce quality assurance and safety protocols.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
