Job summary

Carolina Handling, LLC is seeking a Dock & Door Service Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot dock and door equipment for customers. You will perform installations of rolling and panel doors, levelers, locks, gates, and shelters, while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

You will diagnose equipment, assess sites, and maintain service records. A clean driving record, physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and basic mechanical and electrical knowledge are required, with

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience or training preferred.
• Basic knowledge of DC/AC electricity, motor control and wiring preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot dock and door equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose faulty equipment and identify root causes of malfunctions.
• Assess installation sites and address potential challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of service work and repairs.
