Job Overview

As a Field Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III - Field Service), you'll perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment safely and professionally. This role offers opportunities for growth into higher technician and leadership roles, with an emphasis on exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform safe maintenance and repair of rental equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
2. Travel to customer sites for equipment repairs/maintenance; maintain a clean and professional service vehicle.
3. Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed.
4. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed daily.
5. Assist with equipment and parts pickup/delivery.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
3. 3-5 years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
4. Advanced mechanical skills and knowledge of tools.
5. Strong understanding of engines.
6. Own tools applicable to the position.
7. Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
8. Ability to lift up to 45 lbs frequently.
